It is easy to clean and very well-built with a carriage that lifts to expose running surfaces for a quick cleanup. All parts seem to be made of high quality, durable materials.

Some reviewers whined about the blade that comes with a big sticker and needs to be removed with a strong solvent. The stainless-steel and die-cast aluminum construction promises great performance, but the undersized electric motor limits this slicer to very light intermittent household use.
